is the Banyan Group…
The experience of the
principle founders of the Banyan Group, Inc. go back to the Los Angeles riots of
1992 when they fed 5000 Marines for the entire deployment throughout the city.
Over the years their combined experience grew to included among others, work for
the Navy, Feeding Forest Fire Fighters & Hot Shots working with NIFC, and the current LogCap IV contract.
Banyan's services not only include support services for catastrophic events but
include everyday support services for companies working in various industries
such as oil. gas, electric, environmental clean-up, construction companies,
utility companies and
those working in reconstruction.
Today, Banyan continues to offer Food Management and Production but with a
forward thinking mentality. In an effort to think and go Green, Banyan has
grown to include the procurement of
energy efficient commercial kitchen equipment, specialty light and heavy
construction equipment designed to have a lower environmental footprint, custom
made ocean vessels for environmental clean-up, a variety of skimmer
equipment, EPA approved products such as booms and sorbents designed for
commercial use from restaurants to oil spills as well as crew vests to reduce
heat stress while it increases worker production.
Banyan has also expanded its sourcing reach into key network
contacts stretching
from South America into the Middle East and across the Atlantic into Europe.
